Ali Modu Sheriff Finally Resumes As PDP Chair

The embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sen.
Ali Modu Sheriff has finally been granted access to the party’s National
Secretariat.
Sheriff had earlier today been denied access when he stormed the Secretariat
to takeover the leadership of the party.
DAILY POST reports following the refusal to grant him access to the
secretariat, the embattled Chairman headed to the office of the Inspector
General of Police, Solomon Arase to report the matter.
The outcome of Sheriff’s meeting with the police boss was, however, not
made public.
The former Chair was sacked by the party during the May 21 National
Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
